Deliverable No. 23: Results of analysis of reproductive strategies (month 13). Preliminary results given in the final report and presented to the consortium during its final meeting in Reykjavik, November 2003 in the format of a working document. A publication is in preparation.

Deliverable No. 24: Results of analysis of reproductive strategies (month 25). Status is completed by month 47. Due to delay in the progress of different milestones, this deliverable and Deliverable No. 23 were could not be produced in due time. However, preliminary results are presented to the consortium during its final meeting in Reykjavik, November 2003 in the format of a working document. It is expected to deliver two manuscripts about size at maturity to a peer reviewed journal by the end of the project.

Deliverable No. 25: Database of sampling effort (month 36). Status is completed by month 49. The sampling effort was presented to the consortium already in month 25 and considered as completed except for autumn and winter months. Effort has been done by all partners to fulfil these gaps during months 25 to 36. Thus sampling was not finished before month 36. This logistic problem together with delays in Milestones No. 20 to 26 is responsible for the fact that the data were available to the project database later than expected.

Deliverable No. 26: Reference collection of paraffin embedded gonads and tissue slides (month 37). Status is completed by month 48. All samples have been already embedded and the blocks and slides are referenced and available from Partner 2 by request.

Deliverable No. 27: Results of analysis of reproductive strategies (month 37). Status is completed by month 48. Results about copulation will be not produced. Preliminary data on spawning activity in Iceland were presented to the consortium during its final meeting in Reykjavik, November 2003 in the format of a working document.

Deliverable No. 28: Reference collection of resin embedded gonads and tissue slides (month 38). Status is completed but irrelevant, see Milestone No. 21.

Deliverable No. 29: Image database of gonad slides (month 41). Status is completed by month 52. The database is available on request.

Deliverable No. 30: Database of historical data on spawning behaviour (month 41). Status is completed by month 52. Preliminary results were presented to the consortium during its final meeting in Reykjavik, November 2003 in the format of a working document. Final results are presented in section 3.1.2 of the final report.

Deliverable No. 31: Analysis of reproductive strategies by species and stocks (month 41). Status is completed. The web page was not ready due to above-mentioned delays. The possibility of substitute the proposed web page by the project database www.redfish.de was discussed. Since the project database contains the same information, the web page has not been created and data has been reported to the database instead.

Deliverable No. 32: Results of analysis of reproductive strategies (month 45). Status is completed by month 52. Results about copulation were not produced due to material limitation. Final results are presented in section 3.1.2 of the final report. A scientific paper about the spawning activity of redfish is in preparation.

Deliverable No. 33: Results of analysis of reproductive strategies (month 48). Status is completed by month 52. Final results are presented in section 3.1.2 of the final report. A scientific paper is being prepared to be submitted to a peer-reviewed joural.
